Satish Kasetty (born as Kasetty Sathyanarayana and sometimes credited as K. Sathyanarayana) is an Indian film director who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry. Career Kasetty is known for his debut directorial 2006 Telugu film ''Hope'' for which he won the National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues at the 54th National Film Awards. The film dealt with the topic of teenage suicides due to peer pressure and stress caused by the education system. He shared the award with the producer of the film Policherla Venkata Subbiah. Korlam Parvati Vara Prasada Rao, better known by his stage name Vizag Prasad, was a Telugu theatre artist actor known for his negative character artiste roles. Career He started acting in plays at age 16. He acted in hundreds of plays before moving on to films. His first film was '' Babayi-Abbayi''. The director of the film, Jandhyala, gave him the stage name "Vizag Prasad" to differentiate himself from the other actors with the stage name Prasad in the film. Ilaiyaraaja (born R. The National Film Award for Best Film on Other Social Issues is one of the category in the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organization set up by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in India. It is one of several awards presented for feature films and is awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus). The National Film Awards were established in 1954 to "encourage production of the films of a high aesthetic and technical standard and educational and culture value" and also planned to included awards for regional films.
