The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (Traditional Chinese: 中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會; in short SF&OC, 港協暨奧委會) is the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Hong Kong. Athletics at the 2020 Summer Olympics were held during the last ten days of the Games. They were due to be held from 31 July – 9 August 2020, at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. The women's sprint event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place from 6 to 8 August 2021 at the Izu Velodrome. 30 cyclists from 18 nations competed. Cycling competitions had been contested in every Summer Olympics programme since the first modern Olympiad in 1896 alongside athletics, artistic gymnastics, fencing and swimming. Sarah Lee Wai-sze, BBS, MH (; born 12 May 1987) is a Hong Kong professional track cyclist. Her greatest success to date is winning the bronze medal in the women's keirin at the 2012 London Olympics, Hong Kong's third- ever Olympic medal and first in cycling. Minnie Soo Wai Yam
Minnie Soo Wai Yam (, born 13 April 1998) is a Hong Kong table tennis player. In 2018, she won bronze in the women’s team event at the World Championship and the Asian Games. Later at the 2020 Summer Olympics, she also won a bronze medal in the women’s team event with Doo Hoi Kem and Lee Ho Ching. Early years and education Soo is the daughter of former Hong Kong table tennis player Soo Chun-wah. She was exposed to the sport at age 3½ and began receiving formal training at 5 years old. At 10 years old, she joined Hong Kong's youth table tennis team. She was a student of Diocesan Girls' School but dropped out in secondary three to become a full-time athlete. Lee Ho Ching (born 24 November 1992) is a Hong Kong table tennis player. She qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and was selected to represent Hong Kong in the women's singles and the women's team. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won a bronze medal with Doo Hoi Kem and Minnie Soo Wai Yam in the women’s team event. Early years Lee graduated from St. Rose of Lima's School and studied at Diocesan Girls' School. She dropped out at 15 years old to pursue a full-time athletic career.
