''Honeymind'' is the third studio album by American singer and songwriter Ben Platt, released May 31, 2024 and first since signing with Interscope. Described by Platt as a "homecoming," the album was inspired by his relationship with fiancé Noah Galvin and touches on themes of Americana and queer love. Preceding the album's release, Platt announced on social media that the first single "Andrew" would be released on March 14, 2024. To support the upcoming album, it was announced on March 18, 2024 that Platt would hold a three-week Broadway residency at the Palace Theatre in New York City, the first announced event at the theatre since its renovations began in 2018. The residency Ben Platt: Live at the Palace ran for 18 performances from May 28, 2024 to June 15, 2024. ''Theater Camp: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack to the 2023 film of the same name directed by Molly Gordon and Nick Lieberman, released on July 14, 2023 by Interscope Records. The album consisted the original songs written by Gordon, Lieberman, Ben Platt and Noah Galvin and performed by the cast members. James McAlister and Mark Sonnenblick underscored the incidental music. Development The music in ''Theater Camp'' were based on the fictional in-film musical ''Joan, Still'' that was underscored by the composers McCallister and Sonnenblick. Platt, who wrote songs for his musical albums described that he made his foray into writing a song for full-fledged musical performances. He co-wrote most of the songs with his partner Galvin, Gordon and Lieberman. The latter, said that he did not have a musical book specifically for the fictional musical, and creating the same with composers were challenging, who allotted three days for the musical performance. ...

Ben Platt
Benjamin Schiff Platt (born September 24, 1993) is an American actor, singer, and songwriter. He began his acting career in musical theater as a child and appeared in productions of ''The Sound of Music'' (2006) and ''The Book of Mormon'' (2012–2015), rising to prominence for originating the title role in Broadway coming-of-age musical ''Dear Evan Hansen'' (2015–2017). Ilsey Anna Juber (born April 17, 1986) is an American singer and songwriter from California. Juber co-wrote Mark Ronson's "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart" feat. Miley Cyrus, along with much of Ronson’s ''Late Night Feelings'' album with vocals featured on the track "Spinning". In 2020, she worked on "Midnight Sky" as well as two other songs from Cyrus' album, ''Plastic Hearts''. On October 3, "Midnight Sky" hit #11 on ''Billboard'''s Adult Top 40.
