Home Is For The Heartless
''Deep Blue'' is the third studio album by Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive. It was recorded in Los Angeles, California, and was released on 25 June 2010 through Resist, Epitaph and Burning Heart Records. The album was produced by Joe Barresi. It debuted at number 2 on the ARIA charts and at number 39 on the Billboard 200 chart. It is also Parkway Drive's most critically acclaimed release, having a three-year separation between their previous album, '' Horizons''. At the J Awards of 2010, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. It won the 2010 ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album and has been certified gold in sales by the ARIA. Writing and recording The recording of the album was done during March – April, the writing was done in the band's hometown of Byron Bay over six months. Parkway Drive is an Australian metalcore band from Byron Bay, New South Wales, formed in 2003. Confession are an Australian metalcore band from Melbourne. The band was formed in 2008 by frontman Michael Crafter, who is best known as A lifelong Port Adelaide Football Club Member and the former lead vocalist of metalcore bands I Killed the Prom Queen, Carpathian and Bury Your Dead. They have released one EP titled ''Can't Live, Can't Breathe'' and three albums: ''Cancer'', '' The Long Way Home'' and ''Life and Death''. Your Demise were a British hardcore punk band from St Albans, England, formed in 2003. They shared stages and toured worldwide with the likes of Comeback Kid, Basement, Trapped Under Ice, Man Overboard, Enter Shikari, Parkway Drive, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon. On 22 September 2008, the band confirmed that they had signed a deal with Visible Noise. The band played their final gig at The London Underworld on 15 March 2014, after announcing in 2013 that they would be parting ways in March. The Warped Tour was a traveling rock tour that toured the United States plus three or four stops in Canada annually each summer from 1995 until 2019. It was the largest traveling music festival in the United States and the longest-running touring music festival to date in North America.
