''Home Again'' is a British television sitcom produced by the BBC and broadcast on BBC One in 2006. It starred Peter Egan, Samantha Janus, Bruce Mackinnon and Sinéad Cusack as two couples of different generations living in one house. Peter Egan
Peter Joseph Egan (born 28 September 1946) is a British actor and animal rights activist. He is known for his television roles, including Hogarth in '' Big Breadwinner Hog'', the future George IV of the United Kingdom in ''Prince Regent'' (1979); smooth neighbour Paul Ryman in the sitcom ''Ever Decreasing Circles'' (1984–89); and Hugh "Shrimpie" MacClare, Marquess of Flintshire, in ''Downton Abbey'' (2012–15). Samantha Zoe Womack (''née'' Janus; born 2 November 1972) is an English actress, singer, model and director who has worked in film, television and stage. Womack initially planned a career in singing and she represented the United Kingdom in the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest. Her song for the contest, "A Message to Your Heart", was released as her first (and only) single in April 1991 and reached number 30 in the UK Singles Chart. Bruce MacKinnon (born 1961) is a Canadian editorial cartoonist for ''The Chronicle Herald'' in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is the recipient of several awards of excellence for his work. Biography MacKinnon was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where he attended high school and later studied arts at St. Francis Xavier University. As a youth he also lived with his family in Kingston, Ontario, and Truro and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
