Holy Trinity School, Crawley
The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School is a voluntary-aided comprehensive school in Crawley, West Sussex, England. The school has a roll of around 1300 students. In December 2015, Paul Kennedy left as head teacher. In April 2015, Reverend Millwood was chosen as the new head. Holy Trinity offers a range of GCSE, BTEC and A-Level courses. These are both vocational and part of the English Baccalaureate. Subjects range from English, to languages to Art. Holy Trinity also offers a WorkSkills course, which is designed as a GCSE subject to prepare students for future employment. History Early Negotiations Early talk of opening a new High School to accommodate more room in the existing Catholic School, St. Anthony School, started in about 2006. Design and funding were going to be split between the Town of Drayton Valley and Wild Rose School Division, both of whom were going to build one section each of the atri-facility complex. Drayton Valley would build a Field House and Wild Rose, a new building for the public Junior High School. Both other partners pulled out due to contracting prices and the current economic crisis, while STAR Catholic went on with the project, because of funding approval.
