Trinity Church (also known as Holy Trinity Church Adelaide, is an Australian evangelical Anglican Church of Australia, Anglican church located at 88 North Terrace, Adelaide, North Terrace in the city of Adelaide, South Australia. Trinity Church has five gatherings at the North Terrace location each Sunday, as well as various other meetings throughout the week. History Trinity Church is historically significant in that it contains elements of the earliest surviving Anglican church building in South Australia. Of special note is the William IV window that was brought to Adelaide in 1836. The land on which the church stands was donated by Pascoe St Leger Grenfell along with 40 acres of country land for a cemetery and "glebe" lands. Holy Trinity Church is a heritage-listed Anglican church at 141 Brookes Street, Fortitude Valley, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is the second church on that site. It was designed by Francis Drummond Greville Stanley built from 1876 to 1877 by James Robinson. It was modified in 1920-1921, 1925 and 1929. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. History Construction on The Holy Trinity Church in Fortitude Valley began in 1876 and was completed in 1877 by the Anglican Church. Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a heritage-listed church at 68 Hawthorne Street, Woolloongabba, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Since 1869, three church buildings have stood on this hill top site. The current church was completed in 1930. It was designed by the architect, Eric Ford featuring Romanesque and Spanish mission revival style architecture. Mowbray House
Mowbray House is a heritage-listed historic building that was an independent, day and boarding school for boys, located in Chatswood, on the North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. More recently, it was part of an Ausgrid depot site. The school buildings included a chapel that is now the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. The building is listed on the local government heritage register. History The school was opened in 1906 as the Chatswood Preparatory School by Lancelot Bavin (1881–1956), who would later be an alderman (1925–1932) and three-term Mayor (1927–1930) of Willoughby at the start of the Great Depression. Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Alma, Prince Edward Island)
Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a large historic Carpenter Gothic style Anglican church building located at 40986 Western Road ( PEI Route 2) in the unincorporated village of Alma, 4 miles north of Alberton, Prince Edward Island Canada. It was built of wood between 1888 and 1890 by local craftsmen Its steep pitched roof, lancet windows and entrance tower are typical of Carpenter Gothic churches. Its rear chancel has a separate roof line and appears to be an add on. The adjacent cemetery predates the church by one year. Because of its "well preserved carpenter Gothic architecture", its "association with the history of the Anglican Church in western Prince Edward Island" and "its contribution" to the community of Alma", it was designated a provincial heritage site by the province of Prince Edward Island on December 21, 2007. Holy Trinity Anglican Church () is a large historic Carpenter Gothic style Anglican church building located at 173 Gosford Road (173, chemin Gosford) in the village of Maple Grove in Irlande, Quebec, near Thetford Mines in the Eastern Townships of Quebec, Canada. It was designed by noted Montreal architects Louis Auguste Amos and Alfred Arthur Cox of the firm Amos and Arthur and was built of wood between 1902 and 1904 by local craftsmen Its steep pitched roof and lancet windows are typical of Carpenter Gothic churches. Adjacent to the church are its historic cemetery and its historic stone rectory (le presbytère). The cemetery is still active and is maintained by the ''Maple Grove Anglican Cemetery Foundation''. Holy Trinity Anglican Church is a historic Carpenter Gothic style Anglican church building located on the banks of the Churchill River in Stanley Mission, a community in the Lac La Ronge First Nation and Lac La Ronge Provincial Park in Saskatchewan, Canada. History Designed by the Rev. Robert Hunt, an English missionary who founded Stanley Mission in 1851 with the permission of the Hudson's Bay Company, it was built between 1854 and 1860 by local Cree craftsmen using locally cut lumber as well as hardware and stained glass that Hunt had brought from England. The church was at one time the centre of an active missionary complex that included nearly 30 supporting buildings and a cemetery. It is currently the oldest standing building in Saskatchewan. Holy Trinity Anglican Church is an Anglican church in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. Built between 2014 and 2015, it was the first church to open in downtown Raleigh since 1958. Holy Trinity is a member of the Anglican Church in North America and is under the governance of the Diocese of the Carolinas. History Holy Trinity Anglican Church started in 2003 by a group of Episcopalians from Raleigh who met weekly to pray for renewal in the Episcopal Church of the United States. The group, which had organized themselves as All Saints Fellowship, grew to two hundred members and began a twelve-week Sunday evening preaching series featuring Anglican preachers from across the United States.
