Holy Innocents' High School (HIHS) (Simplified Chinese:圣婴中学, Traditional Chinese: 聖嬰中學, pinyin: ''Shèngyīng Zhōngxué'') is a Catholic school in Singapore. Founded in 1892, the school offers secondary school education leading up to a Singapore-Cambridge GCE Ordinary Level examination, in both the Express and Normal (Academic) streams, as well as Singapore-Cambridge GCE Normal Level in the Normal (Academic) and Normal (Technical) streams. History Tao Nan School (1892–1957) Holy Innocents' High School was founded as Tao Nan School in 1892, as one of the first Chinese Mission Schools in Singapore. Bible studies and classical Chinese were taught. In 1920, the name of the school was changed from Tao Nan to Holy Innocents' Boy School. It means pure, wholesome and innocent. Chew Chor Meng
Chew Chor Meng (born 20 November 1968), better known as Zhou Chuming, is a Singaporean actor. He is one of the first batch of actors to receive the All-Time Favourite Artiste award with Zoe Tay & Li Nanxing. Miss Universe Singapore is a beauty pageant and organization that selects the Singapore official representative to the Miss Universe pageant. The reigning Miss Universe Singapore is Carissa Yap, who was crowned on 17 October 2022, at Caldwell House, Singapore. Lisa Marie White (born 24 May 1993) is a Singaporean model and beauty pageant titleholder who won the title of Miss Singapore Universe 2015 and represented Singapore at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Temasek Polytechnic
Temasek Polytechnic (TP) is a post-secondary education institution and statutory board under the purview of the Ministry of Education in Singapore. Established in 1990, it is the only polytechnic in Singapore offering a law programme. History 1989–1995 In June 1989, Minister for Education Tony Tan announced that a third polytechnic is being considered and in April 1990, Temasek Polytechnic was established with an initial enrolment of 735 students.
