''Hogan's Heroes'' is the eponymously titled second studio album by the American hardcore punk band Hogan's Heroes and was released on May 18, 1990, through New Red Archives. It was recorded at Saatchi & Saatchi's Sonic Edge Studios. It was Produced by Hogan's Heroes and Ryk Oakley. Album information The album was recorded in 1989 at advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, in New York City. In August 1989 after recording basic tracks, Cuccinello moved to Florida for ten months, Hogan's Heroes (Barberio, Scandiffio, Hoefling) produced the Import/Caroline/Rough Trade* Makin, Robert. History Early years (1984–1986) Hogan's Heroes was formed in the shore area of South Central, New Jersey in 1984 by George Barberio (lead guitar), Matt Gunvordahl (drums), and Scott Cassidy (vocals). After a short stint as Impossible Task, the band added bassist John Cuccinello who wanted to call the band Hogan's Heroes. Kraut (band)
Kraut was a New York City punk rock/hardcore punk band formed in 1981. The original members were Davy Gunner (vocals), Doug Holland (guitar/vocals) Don Cowan (bass/vocals), and Johnny Feedback (drums/vocals). History Kraut's first performance was opening for The Clash at Bonds International Casino in New York on June 11, 1981. Their debut single, "Kill for Cash", and second single, "Unemployed", were both released in 1981 on the band's own Cabbage Records label. While recording their debut album, ''An Adjustment to Society'' (produced by Ryk Oakley), they opened for The Professionals (band), the Professionals at The Channel (nightclub), The Channel in Boston. Former Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones (musician), Steve Jones became friends with Kraut and recorded extra guitar tracks for three tracks on the album: "Kill for Cash", "Sell Out" and "Onward". U.K. Subs are an English punk rock band, among the earliest in the first wave of British punk. Formed in 1976, the mainstay of the band has been vocalist Charlie Harper, originally a singer in Britain's R&B scene. They were also one of the first hardcore punk bands. Career 1976–1978 Although the U.K. Subs were part of the original punk movement in England, the band originally started playing as part of the pub rock scene under the name The Marauders.
