The Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) Offenbach am Main (English: ''Offenbach am Main College of Design'') is a German art and design university located in Offenbach am Main, in the German state of Hesse. It was given university status in 1970, and founded in 1832. About The school is divided into two departments. The degree course offers a choice of different topics: design, art, communication design, media arts, stage design and product design. Offenbach am Main () is a List of cities and towns in Germany, city in Hesse, Germany, on the left bank of the river Main (river), Main. Max Cetto
Max Ludwig Cetto (February 20, 1903 – April 5, 1980) was a German-Mexican architect, historian of architecture, and professor. Life Born in Koblenz, Germany, Max Cetto studied at the Darmstadt University of Technology, Munich and Berlin. At the latter he studied with Hans Poelzig, graduating as an engineer–architect in 1926 and worked then for the New Frankfurt project. After 1929 he taught also some years at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach. In 1932 he took part in the competition for the design of the headquarters of the League of Nations in Geneva. Vincenzo Baviera (born 28 July 1945) is a Swiss sculptor. He was born in Zürich, Switzerland. Biography In 1964–69, he studied architecture at ETH Zurich. In 1974, he graduated social psychology and ethnology at the University of Zürich. He became the professor of sculpture at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach am Main in 1984. Georg-Christof Bertsch (born 30 May 1959 in Seeheim-Jugenheim) is a German corporate identity and organizational behavior consultant (Systemische Organisationsberatung according to SW&F). Background Georg-Christof Bertsch is the third son to Robert Bertsch (1922-1997), principal of a special education grammar school, and Anny Bertsch, née Herling (1916-2009). Manfred Stumpf (born November 25, 1957, in Alsfeld, Hesse) is a German draftsman, conceptual artist, and digital artist. Klaus Hesse (born 1954 in Elberfeld) is a German graphic designer. Life Klaus Hesse studied photography and typography at the University of Wupperthal. In 1988, together with Christine Hesse he founded the agency Hesse Design in Düsseldorf; the duo also ran an office in Berlin between 2001 and 2004. Verner Panton
Verner Panton (13 February 1926 – 5 September 1998) is considered one of Denmark's most influential 20th-century furniture and interior designers. During his career, he created innovative and futuristic designs in a variety of materials, especially plastics, and in vibrant and exotic colors. Dominikus Böhm
Dominikus Böhm (23 October 1880 – 6 August 1955) was a German architect specializing in churches. He built churches in Cologne, the Ruhr area, Swabia, and Hesse. Many of his buildings are examples of Brick Expressionism. Life and career Böhm was born in Jettingen as the youngest of six children to builder and major Alois Böhm and his wife Katharina (née Hofmiller).
