Hit Radio 87.6 is a contemporary hit radio station situated in North Central Victoria. About Hit Radio 87.6 The radio station is oriented to the youth market segment in Central Victoria, and as such presents a mix of current chart hits, dance/club chart music, new releases and 90's flashbacks. Hit Radio is presently finalising transmission site arrangements for new services in neighbouring townships. Programs and On Air Sound HIT Radio is a newly established service designed to provide an alternate hit / dance / house format for younger listeners in smaller regional centres in Victoria. The programs have gone through a number of changes in the last 24 months however have settled with a range of popular weekly features, and a solid format of chart hits, new releases and dance/house music. North Central Victoria
North Central Victoria is a rural region in the Australian state of Victoria. The region lies to the south of the Victorian/New South Wales border as defined by the Murray River, to the southwest of the Hume region, to the west of the Great Dividing Range contained within the Central Highlands and Victorian Alps, to the north of Greater Melbourne, to the northeast of the Wimmera, and to the east of the Mallee region. Kilmore, Victoria
Kilmore () is a town in the Australian state of Victoria. Located north of Melbourne, it is the oldest inland town in Victoria by the combination of age and physical occupation, and because it had unique agricultural attributes to drive that earliest settlement. It grew very rapidly to become four times bigger than its nearest inland rival by 1851. Its spectacular growth continued to match that of the major gold mining towns of Ballarat, Bendigo and Beechworth until at least 1861. History The traditional owners of Kilmore and the Kilmore Plains are the Taungurung people, a part of the Kulin nation that inhabited a large portion of central Victoria including Port Phillip Bay and its surrounds. Heathcote, Victoria
Heathcote is a town in central Victoria, Australia, situated on the Northern Highway 110 kilometres north of Melbourne and 40 kilometres south-east of Bendigo via the McIvor Highway. Heathcote's local government area is the City of Greater Bendigo and it is part of the federal electorate of Bendigo and the state electorate of Euroa. At the , Heathcote had a population of 2,793.
