''Historisk Tidsskrift'' is a Danish history journal established in 1840 with the founding of the Danish Historical Society in the same year. It is the oldest extant national journal for history. In Denmark there are various magazines with different frequency types, including weekly magazines, monthly magazines and quarterly magazines. As in other Nordic countries, the national consumer organizations publish their magazines in Denmark. In Norse mythology, Reginn (Old Norse: ᚱᛁᚼᛁᚾ/ᚱᛁᚽᛁᚿ ; often anglicized as Regin or Regan) is a son of Hreiðmarr and the foster father of Sigurd. His brothers are Fafnir and Ótr. Regin in the sagas When Loki mistakenly kills Ótr, Hreiðmarr demands to be repaid with the amount of gold it takes to fill Ótr's skin and cover the outside. Loki takes this gold from the dwarf Andvari, who curses it and especially the ring Andvaranaut. Fafnir kills his father for this gold, but eventually becomes a greedy dragon. Reginn gets none of the gold, but he becomes smith to the king and foster father to Sigurd, teaching him many languages as well as sports, chess, and runes. Jan Pedersen (historian)
Jan Osvald Pedersen (born 9 November 1962 in Middelfart, Denmark) is a former Speedway rider who became Speedway World Champion in 1991 after finishing runner-up in 1986 and in third place in 1988 behind fellow Danes Erik Gundersen and Hans Nielsen. He also won the Speedway World Pairs Championship in 1990 and 1991, both times partnered by Hans Nielsen. Career In 1983 Pedersen signed for the Cradley Heathens. His first British meeting heralded a five-point return in Birmingham's Second City individual Trophy on 18 March.
