Historia De Amour
Historia de Amour is Yolandita Monge's twelfth (12th) studio album and second with CBS Records (now Sony Music Latin). It follows the same formula of her previous release and includes the hits "Serás Mío", "Perdóname Otra Vez", "Que Te Hice", and "Sí". Monge won the Buga Festival in Colombia for composing and performing the song "Sí". The album was re-issued on CD format in 1992 and it is currently out of print in all media formats. Several hits songs appear in various compilations of the singer available as digital downloads at iTunes and Amazon. Sueños is Yolandita Monge's thirteenth (13th) studio album and third with CBS Records (now Sony Music Latin). It includes the hits "Sola", "Siempre Tú", "La Distancia", "Acéptame como Soy", "El Amor", and the title track. This album marked a change for a more contemporary pop sound for the singer, along with a change of image. This release marked an important transition in the career of Yolandita Monge. So far all her records had maintained a similar musical concept and arrangements. However, with this production the singer launched a new, fresh and modern international pop sound that served as the preamble to the "boom" that broke out with her next album, Luz de Luna. Yolanda Rosa Monge Betancourt (born September 16, 1955), known professionally as Yolandita Monge, is a Puerto Rican singer, actress, and television personality. She has been active in the music business since her teen years and has recorded 27 studio albums and two live albums, as well as several greatest hits compilations and special appearance recordings. Biography Early life and family Monge was born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico on September 16, 1955, is the daughter of Iris Delia Betancourt and Héctor Monge. Lou Briel (born October 19, 1954, Santurce, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican singer, composer, comedian, record producer, pianist, and host, among other things. Musical career Early years with Anexo 3 Lou Briel started his career at a very young age as a singer, director and member of a pop musical group called ''Anexo 3''. Together they recorded four albums, the first two produced by Alfred D. Herger, and reached popularity with songs such as: "Oh, Cuanto te Amo" ("Oh, how much I love you"), "Contigo" (With you), & "Por eso estoy Preso", (That's why I'm a prisoner), among others.
