Kokoro Connect
is a Japanese light novel series written by Sadanatsu Anda, with illustrations by Shiromizakana. It centers around five high school students facing numerous supernatural phenomena that forces them to reveal secrets that will test their bonds with each other. Kannazuki No Miko
is a Japanese ''Yuri (genre), yuri'' manga series created by Kaishaku (manga group), Kaishaku. The series, centering on the relationship between main characters Himeko and Chikane, also has elements of mecha themes in its plot. The 14-chapter series was serialized by Kadokawa Shoten in the monthly ''Shōnen Ace'' magazine from 2004 to 2005. The series was adapted into a 12-episode anime by TNK (company), TNK and NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan, Geneon Entertainment, which aired in Japan from October to December 2004. Hime-chan's Ribbon
is a magical girl manga series created by Megumi Mizusawa that was serialized in Ribon Magazine from August 1990 to January 1994. It was later developed into a 61 episode anime series, produced by Studio Gallop, that aired from October 2, 1992 to December 3, 1993. Hajime Watanabe's first project as a character designer was with Hime-chan no Ribbon. The manga series was collected into ten volumes in Japan, where it received a full anime DVD release. A stage musical of the show was produced in December 1993 starring the idol group SMAP. The musical was presented in three episodes, each a week apart. Himiko (queen)
, also known as , was a shamaness-queen of Yamatai-koku in . Early Chinese dynastic histories chronicle tributary relations between Queen Himiko and the Cao Wei Kingdom (220–265) and record that the Yayoi period people chose her as ruler following decades of warfare among the kings of Wa. Early Japanese histories do not mention Himiko, but historians associate her with legendary figures such as Empress Consort Jingū, who was regent () in roughly the same era as Himiko.
