Hildegunn Øiseth
Hildegunn Øiseth (born 5 December 1966 in Kongsvinger, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (trumpet, flugelhorn and bukkehorn). Career Øiseth has had a number of appearances in both Norway, South Africa and Pakistan, and was hired as trumpeter in the only professional big band in Scandinavia, Bohuslän Big Band (1990–99). She left this big band to develop her own projects, and established in South Afrika (1999–2001). The stay in Africa resulted in two album releases by the band "Uhambo". She was instructor and artist at ''The Groove Valley JazzCamp'' in Beiarn 2007, and released her debut album as a solo artist with the ''Hildring'' (2009), focusing on the traditional instrument Bukkehorn instrument. Here she plays with musicians like Helge A. Kongsvinger
Kongsvinger () is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Glåmdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Kongsvinger. Other settlements in the municipality include Austmarka, Brandval, Lundersæter, and Roverud. The municipality is the 111th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Geirr Lystrup (born 22 March 1949) is a Norwegian singer, poet, playwright and children's writer. He was born in Vinje. His debut album was ''Ti på taket og Måltrostblues'' from 1972. His album ''Songen om kjærligheta'' from 1981 (a cooperation with Det Norske Kammerkor) was awarded Spellemannprisen. He was awarded ''Prøysenprisen'' in 1987. Lars Jansson (composer)
Lars Jansson (born 1951) is a Swedish jazz pianist and composer. Life Jansson grew up in Örebro, Sweden, where he was bored by his lessons at the community music school. In his early teens, a relative lent him records of Miles Davis, Ben Webster, and Mose Allison. During the 1960s, he followed the fashion and developed an interest in the organ. He listened to Kjell Öhman play with the Telstars, to Jimmy Smith and Jack McDuff, and to Hammond organ music. Drummer Sjunne Ferger became an important figure in his life, and together they formed a duo: "Takt & Ton" (Beat & Pitch). In 1970, after graduation from upper secondary school, he took a semester off, planning to go on and study medicine. He ended up at dental school, but after a year and a half he decided to switch to music. Losen Records (initiated 2010 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian record label founded by Odd Gjelsnes at the distribution company MusikkLosen. Background The distribution company MusikkLosen was founded in 1997 by Odd Gjelsnes, and Losen Records, which is under the operation of MusikkLosen, had its first album release with the album ''Norwegian Song 3'' by Dag Arnesen in late 2010.
