Hifazat (1987 Film)
''Hifazat'' (Safeguarding) is a 1987 Bollywood drama film directed by Prayag Raj. It stars Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit in pivotal roles. The music of the film was composed by R. D. Burman. Later this movie remade in Telugu as Bobbili Raja. The film was a commercial failure. Plot After Laxmi has had three still-births, her husband, Satyaprakash and his mother are afraid she will not be able have any more children, and therefore there will be no one to carry the name of the family forward. So they propose that Satyaprakash gets married for a second time, to which Laxmi consents and as such he marries Rukmani. After this marriage Laxmi gets pregnant and gives birth to a son, Raj Kumar and shortly thereafter Rukmani too gives birth to a son, Lakhan. Raj Kumar is abducted and disappears from their lives. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. Early life Anand Bakshi (Bakshi Anand Prakash Vaid) was born in Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of British India (now in Punjab, Pakistan), on 21 July 1930 into a Mohyal Brahmin family of the Vaid clan. The family arrived in Delhi, via a Dakota aircraft after the Partition of India and then migrated to Pune, then Meerut and settled again finally in Delhi. Bakshi was fond of writing poetry since his youth, but he did this mostly as a private hobby.
