Chua Wee Hian (born 1939) is a Singaporean Evangelical, known for his longterm role as General Secretary of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students from 1972 to 1991. Eng Hian
Eng Hian (; born 17 May 1977) is a retired Indonesian badminton player. A men's doubles specialist, he won major international tournaments, most of them in partnership with Flandy Limpele, between 1999 and 2006. They earned a bronze medal in men's doubles at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Their victories included the Korea (1999), Denmark (2000), Singapore (2002), and Japan Opens, and the Copenhagen Masters in 2000 and 2004. Hian and Limpele briefly represented England from 2001 until 2003 before returning to PBSI just in time for 2004 Summer Olympics. They were runners-up at the prestigious All-England Championships in 2002. Hian won the Dutch Open with Rian Sukmawan in 2006. Liem Koen Hian
Liem Koen Hian (3 November 1897 – 4 November 1952) was an Indonesian journalist and politician. He was born in Banjarmasin, the son of a local peranakan Chinese business owner, Liem Ke An. He attended the Hollands-Chineesche School to class 6, when he was reportedly expelled after coming into conflict with a Dutch teacher. He subsequently worked as a business clerk for Royal Dutch Shell in Balikpapan before returning to Banjarmasin to work for a local newspaper. The name of the newspaper is not known, but may have been ''Penimbangan'', ''Pengharepan'', or ''Borneo Post''. In 1915 he moved to Surabaya where he worked in the newspaper ''Tjhoen Tjhioe''. In 1917 he published a monthly magazine, ''Soe Liem Poo'', but that title survived only briefly. Liem then moved to Aceh to carry out trade. Prof. Dato Sri Dr. Sim Kui Hian (; born 18 August 1965) is a Malaysian politician and cardiologist who is serving as the Deputy Premier of Sarawak and the territory's Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak in the Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) administration under Premier Abang Abdul Rahman Johari Abang Openg since January 2022, as well as an elected representative for the constituency of N14 Batu Kawah in the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) since May 2016. Tan Swie Hian () is a Singaporean multidisciplinary artist known for his contemporary Chinese calligraphy, Chinese poetry and contemporary art sculptures found in Singapore and many parts of the world. Early life Born in Indonesia, Tan migrated to Singapore circa 1946. He grew up with a fluency in Chinese and Malay, and went on to study English and French at Nanyang University. He began his career as a press attaché for the French Embassy in Singapore, after graduating with a degree in English literature from the university.
