Het Peoples
The Het were the people of the northern Patagonian pampas west of the Paraná River: The Chechehet, the Diuihet or Didiuhet, and the Taluhet. The easternmost Didiuhet, near modern Buenos Aires and influenced by the Guarani, were called the Querandí (see). It is not clear if these three peoples were related linguistically or only culturally. The Het were neighbored on the north by the Chaná, on the northwest and west by the Mapuche, and on the south by the Puelche. Heavy Equipment Transport System
Heavy Equipment Transporter System (HETS) is the name of a U.S. Army logistics vehicle transport system, the primary purpose of which is to transport the M1 Abrams tank. It is also used to transport, deploy, and evacuate armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery, armored bulldozers, and other heavy vehicles and equipment. The current U.S. Army vehicle used in this role is an Oshkosh-built M1070 tractor unit in A0 and A1 configurations which is coupled to a DRS Technologies M1000 semi-trailer. This combination replaced the earlier Oshkosh-built M911 tractor unit and M747 semi-trailer. Helicopter Flight Rescue System
The Helicopter Flight Rescue System (HFRS) is a helicopter insertion and extraction tool that utilizes a longline and Personnel Carrying Device System (PCDS) to carry human loads below a helicopter in flight. These systems are often referred to as "Long Line", "Short Haul", Class D Fixed Line (CDFL), and other terms, and is similar to other helicopter long line systems in use throughout the world. By extending a rescuer below the aircraft and allowing the aircraft to remain clear of obstacles while a rescue is performed, a pilot can insert/extract rescuers and subjects in most types of terrain (slope angle, obstacles, and hazards permitting). Under CARs, HFRS falls under Class D operations which includes all human loads carried externally (commonly referred to as Human External Cargo EC.
