Hero Of The Donetsk People's Republic
Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic (russian: Герой Донецкой Народной Республики) is the highest honorary title of the Donetsk People's Republic, a state with limited recognition in Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine. It was established on October 3, 2014. The title is awarded by the Head of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Presidium of the Council of Ministers. The Gold Star medal is awarded to Heroes of the DPR. On the surface of the reverse side there is an inscription “Hero of the DPR”. The block of the medal is a rectangular metal plate with fabric in the colors of the flag of the DPR (black, blue and red). The Donetsk People's Republic ( rus, Донецкая Народная Республика, Donetskaya Narodnaya Respublika, dɐˈnʲetskəjə nɐˈrodnəjə rʲɪˈspublʲɪkə; abbreviated as DPR or DNR, rus, ДНР) is a Territorial dispute, disputed entity created by Russian people's militias in Ukraine, Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine, which claims Donetsk Oblast. Olga Sergeevna Kachura; uk, Ольга Сергіївна Качура (12 May 1970 – 29 July 2022) was a Ukrainian pro-Russian separatist in the Russo-Ukrainian War, colonel of the Donetsk People's Republic People's Militia and a commander of a rocket artillery divizion. Arsen Sergeyevich Pavlov (russian: Арсе́н Серге́евич Па́влов; 2 February 1983 – 16 October 2016), known by his Motorola (Моторо́ла), was a Russian militant known for murdering and torturing Ukrainian POWs, who led the Sparta Battalion up until his death in a blast on his apartment in Donetsk.
