Tim Hughes
Timothy David Llewelyn Hughes (born 23 July 1977) is a British worship leader, singer, songwriter, and Anglican priest. Formerly the director of worship at Holy Trinity Brompton, a large Anglican church in central London, he has since been ordained as a minister in the Church of England and appointed Vicar of St Luke's, Gas Street Birmingham. He leads Worship Central, an international worship training and resource centre. Hughes has written a number of songs that are sung worldwide, including the Dove Award-winning " Here I Am to Worship", "Happy Day", "Beautiful One", "Jesus Saves", "At Your Name", and "The Way". Personal life Hughes, the son of an Anglican vicar, grew up in High Wycombe, before moving to Birmingham as a teenager when his father was appointed vicar of St John's Church, Harborne. Jason Halbert
Jason Halbert (born June 3, 1974) is an American producer, music director, musician, engineer and songwriter. He has been Kelly Clarkson's music director since 2003, shortly after her ''American Idol'' win. He has also served as music director for Nick Carter, Clay Aiken, Justin Guarini in addition to touring as keyboardist for Paulina Rubio and Reba McEntire. Halbert began his music career as keyboardist for DC Talk in 1994. He was also a founding member of the band SonicFlood. As a record producer Halbert has won a Grammy for his contributions to Kelly Clarkson's '' Stronger'' album which won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal album in 2013. As a songwriter, Halbert has co-written several songs with Kelly Clarkson, including ''Catch My Breath'' and "Cry". "Here I Am to Worship" is a song written by Tim Hughes and was released as the title song of his debut album ''Here I Am to Worship''. The song is a popular worship ballad. It is commonly sung at Christian churches, festivals and youth gatherings. The song was ranked No. 1 on the Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) two years in a row and was still ranked on their Top 25 Songs list in 2016. Writing and inspiration Hughes wrote the song in 1999 as a response to how he felt after reading Philippians 2. The passage speaks about Christ's humility and how He willingly left His throne in heaven, came to earth as a man, and sacrificed Himself on the cross all because of His love for us.
