''Here's to You'' is the ninth studio album by country music duo Montgomery Gentry through Average Joes Entertainment. It was released on February 2, 2018, after the death of duo member Troy Gentry. The album includes the single "Better Me". Content Prior to the album's release, group member Troy Gentry died in a helicopter crash in September 2017. At the time, the duo had just completed the album for Average Joes Entertainment, and "Better Me" had been released as a single. Eddie Montgomery, the other half of the duo, said that Gentry had approached him about "Better Me" and wanted to sing lead vocals on the song: "when he heard it, he came to me and said, 'Eddie, I really, really wanna sing this song.' That's the first time that had ever happened." Montgomery Gentry
Montgomery Gentry is an American country music duo founded by singers Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, both Kentucky natives. They began performing together in the 1990s as part of two different bands with Montgomery's brother, John Michael Montgomery. Although Gentry won a talent contest in 1994, he reunited with Eddie Montgomery after Gentry was unable to find a solo record deal, and Montgomery Gentry was formed in 1999. The duo is known for its Southern rock influences, and has collaborated with Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, Five for Fighting, and members of The Allman Brothers Band. Craig Campbell (born February 10, 1979) is an American country music singer. He signed to Bigger Picture Music Group and has released two albums: '' Craig Campbell'' (2011) and '' Never Regret'' (2013). He has had eight singles on the country chart. Biography Early years Craig Campbell was born in Lyons, Georgia. He grew up as one of five children in a blended family. The Hammond organ is an electric organ invented by Laurens Hammond and John M. Hanert and first manufactured in 1935. Multiple models have been produced, most of which use sliding drawbars to vary sounds. Steel Guitar
A steel guitar ( haw, kīkākila) is any guitar played while moving a steel bar or similar hard object against plucked strings. The bar itself is called a "steel" and is the source of the name "steel guitar". The instrument differs from a conventional guitar in that it is played without using frets; conceptually, it is somewhat akin to playing a guitar with one finger (the bar). Eddie Bayers (born January 28, 1949) is an American session drummer who has played on 300 gold and platinum albums. He received the Academy of Country Music 'Drummer of the Year Award' for fourteen years, has three times won the Nashville Music Awards 'Drummer of the Year,' and was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2019.
