Henry Romero (Salvadoran Footballer)
Henry Javier Romero Ventura (born September 17, 1991) is a Salvadoran professional footballer who plays as a defender for Primera División club Alianza. Club career Alianza Romero signed with Alianza for the Apertura 2017 tournament. On 14 September 2017, he scored his first goal for Alianza in a 4–0 win against Municipal Limeño at the Estadio Cuscatlán. On 8 December 2018, Romero was sent off in the second leg of the semifinals of the Apertura 2018, a 2–2 draw against FAS. However, Alianza reached its fifth consecutive final since the Apertura 2016. With Alianza, Romero won the Apertura 2017 and Clausura 2018. Santa Rosa de Lima is a municipality in La Unión Department of El Salvador. The city is named after St. Rose of Lima, born on 1586 in Lima (Peru). The 2017 Copa Centroamericana ( en, 2017 Central American Cup) was the 14th and last edition of the Copa Centroamericana, the biennial international men's football championship of the Central American region organized by the Central American Football Union (UNCAF). The tournament was hosted in Panama between 13–22 January 2017. The top four teams qualified for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, while the fifth-placed team advanced to a play-off against the fifth-placed team from the 2017 Caribbean Cup for the final Gold Cup berth. The Estadio Olímpico Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez, named after the Panamanian football star Rommel Fernández (1966–1993), is a multi-purpose stadium in Panama City. It is used for different sports, but mainly football (soccer) games. It was inaugurated February 6, 1970, and was designed to accommodate the XI Central American and Caribbean Games in 1970.
