Wrens is a city in Jefferson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,187 at the 2010 census. It is located on U.S. Route 1, thirty miles south of Augusta. History Wrens was laid out in 1884 when the railroad was extended to that point, and named after W.J. Wren, an early settler and merchant.
