Hermann Hendrich
Hermann Hendrich (31 October 1854 in Heringen, Thuringia – 18 July 1931 in Schreiberhau in Niederschlesien) was a German painter. Life Hermann Hendrich was born in the vicinity of the storied Kyffhäuser, his parents were Auguste Friederike Hendrich née Ziegler and the baker August Hendrich. From 1870 to 1872 he served his apprenticeship as lithographer; one year shorter than the regular duration due to his evident talent. He then started a job in a Hanoverian lamp factory where he had to draw a catalogue. At that time, he first attended a Wagnerian opera, Tannhäuser, and the wish emerged to be able to draw such musical impressions. In 1875, Hendrich attended a job at a Berlin art institution where he had to lithograph oil paintings. in 1876, he visited Norway for further art studies. The jury of the "Grosse Berliner Kunstausstellung" (great Berlin art exhibition) disapproved however the exhibition of his paintings. Hendrich then started a job as painter in Amsterdam. I ... Kathrin Julia Hendrich (born 6 April 1992) is a German-Belgium professional footballer who plays for Chicago Stars FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and the German national team. A versatile defender, she can play as a centre-back, full-back or sweeper. Youth career Hendrich was born in Belgium to a Belgian mother and German father. She began her career at the age of seven in her hometown with FC Eupen 1963 before joining FC Teutonia Weiden after four years in the summer of 2003. Hendrich's Drop Forge
The Hendrich's Drop Forge part of the LVR Industriemuseum is a museum in Solingen (), a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located on the northern edge of the region called Bergisches Land, south of the Ruhr. The museum is an Anchor point on the European Route of Industrial Heritage. Context The Hendrichs family firm was founded in 1886 during an economic boom in Solingen. Solingen in the “Bergisches Land” had turned out scissors, knives and weapons since the Middle Ages. External conditions were ideal as there were limitless supplies of iron ore from the hills while the surrounding forests provided enough fuel to keep the fires burning. The Wupper, River Wupper and its many tributaries provided the necessary hydropower, hydraulic power for all the forging and grinding operations.
