Heloise And The Savoir Faire
Heloise and the Savoir Faire are an American punk outfit based in Brooklyn, New York, United States. Fronted by Heloise Williams (ex-viperHouse songwriter, and lead vocalist), the band's live lineup was originally composed of Williams singing over a pre-recorded track and was accompanied by the dance stylings of Joe "Juge" Shepard and Sara Sweet Rabidoux. In the summer of 2004, Heloise began experimenting with a backup band on a few songs. The original three band members were James Bellizia (stunt guitar, member of Pooloop and Sweet Ass Pussy), Jason Cooley (bass, member of Burlington-based Led Loco and James Kochalka Superstar) and Luke Hughett (drums, x Qatsi and the Shipwreckers). Ponce Kiah Marchelle Heloise Cruse Evans (born April 15, 1951 in Waco, Texas), best known by her pen name Heloise, is an American writer, author, and speaker specializing in lifestyle hints, including consumer issues, pets, travel, food, home improvement, and health. Heloise's father was in the Air Force, and like many military brats she moved frequently. Héloïse Suzanne Colin (1819–1873), also known as Héloïse Leloir, was a painter and fashion illustrator during the Second French Empire. Biography Héloïse Colin was the eldest daughter of painter Alexandre-Marie Colin and Marie Joseph Juhel. She married Auguste Leloir with whom she had two sons: the illustrator Maurice Leloir and the painter Alexandre-Louis Leloir. Colin exhibited her first drawings in the 1835 edition of the Salon. She painted watercolors, miniatures, and illustrations for novels, such as ''The Three Musketeers'' and ''The Count of Monte Cristo''. Heloise Edwina Hersey (1855-1933) was an American scholar of Anglo-Saxon language and literature. A graduate of Vassar College and the first female professor of Anglo-Saxon studies in the United States, she was appointed at Smith College in 1878.
