Hearts On Fire (Bryan Adams Song)
"Hearts On Fire" is a song performed by Bryan Adams on his 1987 album '' Into the Fire''. Written by Adams and Jim Vallance in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1984 it was not completed until 1986 or early 1987 when Adams went to record in September 1986 at Cliffhanger Studios, West Vancouver (Adams's home studio at the time). The song was mixed by co-producer Bob Clearmountain in January 1987 at AIR Studios in London. Background The song was partially written at the time Adams and Vallance were writing for the album '' Reckless'' and not completed until the album recording started. Vallance comments on his website that he believes that the sounds were more suited to "Reckless" than "Into the Fire", Adams however believes the song was perfect for the album as it made a direct connection between the two albums for those that liked the previous work. Mickey Curry
Michael Timothy Curry (born June 10, 1956) is an American musician. He has collaborated with singer-songwriter Bryan Adams since the early 1980s, but has also worked with Hall & Oates, Cher, Tina Turner, Alice Cooper, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Sam Phillips, Tom Waits, Survivor, The Cult and Steve Jones. Early life Mickey Curry was born in New Haven, Connecticut. He started playing drums at age 11 under the tutelage of Nick Forte. When he was 13, he and two of his brothers formed a band called The Rack. At age 17, he joined the Scratch Band in Connecticut. Early career He played in local bands until around 1980, when he started working in New York studios. While working in Manhattan, he joined the band Tom Dickie and the Desires, managed by Tommy Mottola, manager of Hall & Oates. Keith Douglas Scott (born July 20, 1954) is a Canadian guitarist. He is best known for his long-term collaboration with the singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, for whom he plays lead guitar.
