''Hearts of Hoodlums'' is the second full-length album by the punk band Whole Wheat Bread. It was released on January 20, 2009, though it became available to download on iTunes on January 6, 2009. This album is said to have received help from Lil Jon, Tim Armstrong, Murs, and Mike McColgan. Whole Wheat Bread (band)
Whole Wheat Bread is a Caribbean American Pop punk band from Jacksonville, Florida, United States. They formed in 2003 and have so far released two albums and one EP, under the Orlando-based record label Fighting Records. History Aaron Abraham and Nicholas Largen were friends from Jacksonville, Florida. Abraham knew about Largen, DJ Dirtee $skeet through the Jacksonville underground rap scene in which Largen was well known. They met up and decided to form a rap group. But Whole Wheat Bread needing members was then filled by Largen and his brother. With Abraham on vocals and guitar and Largen on bass, Largen's brother Joseph was brought in to play drums, opting out of a career in neurosurgery, and Whole Wheat Bread continued to play shows and record. Tim Armstrong
Timothy Ross Armstrong (born November 25, 1965) is an American musician, singer, songwriter and producer. Known for his distinctive voice, he is the singer/guitarist for the punk rock band Rancid and hip hop/punk rock supergroup Transplants. Prior to forming Rancid, Armstrong was in the ska punk band Operation Ivy. In 1997, along with Brett Gurewitz of the band Bad Religion and owner of Epitaph Records, Armstrong founded Hellcat Records. In 2012, through his website, Armstrong started releasing music that influenced him, along with stripped-down cover songs of his own under the name Tim Timebomb. Michael McColgan is an American musician, and is a founding member and former lead singer of the American punk band Street Dogs and a founding member and former original lead singer of the American Celtic punk band Dropkick Murphys. Early years and Dropkick Murphys McColgan was born in the Savin Hill area of Dorchester, Massachusetts, and attended Catholic Memorial School, Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. His interest in music began while he sang in the school's choir. McColgan joined the U.S. Army in 1989 and served in 4th Battalion 82nd Field Artillery, Charlie Battery in the first Gulf war before becoming a founding member of the Dropkick Murphys in 1996. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family.
