"Heartbreak Hotel" is a song recorded by American singer Elvis Presley. It was released as a single on January 27, 1956, Presley's first on his new record label RCA Victor. It was written by Mae Boren Axton and Tommy Durden, with credit being given also to Presley. A newspaper article about the suicide of a lonely man who jumped from a hotel window inspired the song. Axton presented the song to Presley in November 1955 at a country music convention in Nashville. Presley agreed to record it, and did so on January 10, 1956, in a session with his band, The Blue Moon Boys, the guitarist Chet Atkins, and the pianist Floyd Cramer. "Heartbreak Hotel" comprises an eight-bar blues progression, with heavy Reverb#Creating reverberation effects, reverberation throughout the track, to imitate the character of Elvis Presley's Sun recordings, Presley's Sun recordings. Benjamin Laub (February 23, 1984), better known by his stage name Grieves, is an American hip hop artist based in Seattle, Washington. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he lived in Colorado, San Diego, and New York City. He was signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment. Career Grieves released his first album, ''Irreversible'', independently in 2007. In 2008, Grieves teamed up with multi-instrumentalist and producer Budo, with whom he would release his next two albums: ''88 Keys & Counting'' in 2010, and ''Together/Apart'' in 2011. While his brothers did not sing background vocals, they were credited with playing percussion on the album while brother Tito contributed a guitar solo.
