The chordae tendineae (tendinous cords), colloquially known as the heart strings, are inelastic cords of fibrous connective tissue that connect the papillary muscles to the tricuspid valve and the mitral valve in the heart. Structure The chordae tendineae connect the atrioventricular valves (tricuspid and mitral), to the papillary muscles within the ventricles. Multiple chordae tendineae attach to each leaflet or cusp of the valves. Chordae tendineae contain elastin in a delicate structure notably at their periphery. Tendon of Todaro The ''tendon of Todaro'' is a continuation of the Eustachian valve of the inferior vena cava and the valve of the coronary sinus. ''Heartstrings'' is the fourth studio album of London-based Australian indie rock band Howling Bells. The album was released through Birthday Records on 2 June 2014 to generally favourable reviews. It was co-produced by Catherine J. Marks and Alan Moulder, and recorded at Assault & Battery 2, London, in November 2013. Howling Bells, by and large, did not write for ''Heartstrings'' until more than two years following the release of their previous album, ''The Loudest Engine''. Over that period, the band members committed themselves to other ventures. Original Howling Bells bass guitarist Brendan Picchio, left the band and was eventually replaced with Gary Daines. Furthermore, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Juanita Stein became a first-time mother after giving birth. M-22 are a British-German DJ and producer duo consisting of Matt James and Frank Sanders. On March 22, the duo met, through a joint production, which is the reason for their stage name. History On March 22, 2015, the duo met during a joint production in Canada. James and Sanders liked each other instantly. On the same day, they produced their first single, "Good to Be Loved". In April 2015, the duo released the track "Sometime" which peaked in the UK Club Chart at #6. The song was selected by the Sarah-Jane Crawford Show (BBC1 Xtra) as 'Record of the Week'. Their debut single was released on 22 May 2015 and reached the iTunes Top 50 chart. On EDM.com, the song made it to #5 on its chart. Several DJs supported the track; Tiësto, Don Diablo and Robin Schulz played the song several times in their radio shows. ''Heart Strings'' is a live album by Irish singer Moya Brennan. The album was released in September 2008, but was previously available to fans throughout Brennan's Spring 2008 tour of the Netherlands. It was recorded at her concerts on 21 October 2007 in the Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool, and in November 2007 in Germany. A new version featuring "Harry's Game" was released in 2009. Versions The version of the album available during Moya Brennan's Spring 2008 tour (as opposed to worldwide release) sounds different, mainly the strings being lower in volume. The front cover of the album also varies, with the placing of "Live with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra" at the bottom of the cover on the large-scale item. Finally, the track "Harry's Game" does not feature on the Spring 2008 tour item, and was added to the large distributed release.
