Doctor Of Medicine
A Doctor of Medicine (abbreviated MD, from the Latin language, Latin ) is a medical degree, the meaning of which varies between different jurisdictions. In the United States, and some other countries, the ''MD'' denotes a professional degree of physician. This generally arose because many in 18th-century medical professions trained in Scotland, which used the MD degree nomenclature. In England, however, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was used: in the 19th century, it became the standard in Scotland too. Thus, in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Ireland and other countries, the MD is a research doctorate, honorary degree, honorary doctorate or applied clinical degree restricted to those who already hold a professional degree (Bachelor's/Master's/Doctoral) in medicine. In those countries, the equivalent professional degree to the North American, and some others' usage of MD is still typically titled Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. History The fi ...

New Amerykah Part One (4th World War)
''New Amerykah Part One (4th World War)'' is the fourth studio album by American contemporary R&B, R&B singer Erykah Badu. It was released on February 26, 2008, by Universal Motown following Badu's hiatus from recording music due to writer's block. In returning from the hiatus, she received music from several hip hop music, hip hop producers over the Internet and recorded demos of her vocals using the GarageBand software on her laptop. Most of the album was then recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. ''New Amerykah Part One'' is an esoteric concept album titled as a pun on Badu's first name and a reflection of the record's political leanings. It features social commentary and themes related to the plight of the African American, African-American community, including poverty, urban violence, complacency, and cultural identity. The record's densely produced music incorporates hip hop music, hip hop, soul music, soul, funk, jazz, and electronica styles. The album debut ...

Johnny Marr And The Healers
''Boomslang'' is the only album by Johnny Marr + the Healers. It was released in 2003 through Artistdirect and iMusic. The band consisted of Zak Starkey, drummer for the Who and son of Ringo Starr, and Kula Shaker bassist Alonza Bevan, with Marr playing guitars, lead vocals and keyboards. The literal definition of the word "boomslang" is "a venomous, tree-dwelling snake... of tropical and southern Africa". The expression "I got boomslang..." in South Africa means to get caught up in something (like a boomslang snake hanging from a tree.) For example, "I was about to leave work when I got boomslang by a customer who needed something, and had to stay late." The 2001 single "The Last Ride" – and its B-sides "Need It" and "Long Gone" – were included in the track listing. "Down On the Corner" was also released as a single, promoted by an appearance on ''The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn'' in February 2003. "Bangin' On" was released as a single in 2003 and got to #78 in UK. It ...

The Healers (album)
''The Healers'' is an album by David Murray and Randy Weston released on the Italian Black Saint label in 1987. It features duo performances by Murray and Weston. Reception The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album 4 stars, stating: "This set of duets by David Murray (doubling on tenor and bass clarinet) and pianist Randy Weston is a bit of a surprise. Rather than performing standards or some of Weston's 'hits,' the duo stretches out on three obscurities by the two musicians (only Weston's 'Blue Moses' is slightly known) and Butch Morris' 'Clever Beggar.' Weston provides a solid harmonic and rhythmic foundation for Murray's thick-toned but sometimes screeching flights, and the combination works pretty well."Yanow, SAllmusic review accessed July 9, 2011.
