"He's the King" is a song recorded by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler for her twelfth studio album, ''All in One Voice'' (1998). It was released in December 1997 by EastWest Records as the lead single of the album. The song was written by German songwriters Harold Faltermeyer and Gernot Rothenbach. "He's the King" charted at number 95 in the German Top 100 Singles Chart, released a year before the album. The song appeared on the 1997 German film ', where Tyler can be seen performing the song in a nightclub. It was also featured on the film's soundtrack. Gaynor Sullivan (née Hopkins; born 8 June 1951), known professionally as Bonnie Tyler, is a Welsh singer who is known for her distinctive husky voice. Tyler came to prominence with the release of her 1977 album '' The World Starts Tonight'' and its singles " Lost in France" and " More Than a Lover". Her 1978 single "It's a Heartache" reached number four on the UK Singles Chart, and number three on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. In the 1980s, Tyler ventured into rock music with songwriter and producer Jim Steinman. He wrote Tyler's biggest hit " Total Eclipse of the Heart", the lead single from her 1983 UK chart-topping album '' Faster Than the Speed of Night''. ''All in One Voice'' is the twelfth studio album by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. It was released in 1998 by EastWest Records, following her previous album with EastWest, ''Free Spirit (Bonnie Tyler album), Free Spirit'' (1995). The album remains the least commercially successful in Tyler's career as it failed to chart worldwide. Recording Tracks produced by Jimmy Smyth were recorded at Full Moon, Westland and Park House Studios in Dublin, Ireland. "The Reason Why" was recorded at Boogie Park Studios in Hamburg, and "I Put a Spell on You" was recorded for Mike Batt's album ''Philharmania'' at Abbey Road Studios in London.
