Hayley Davis (born 4 February 1993) is an English professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. She was part of the winning team at the 2021 Aramco Team Series – Sotogrande and won the 2023 Cape Town Ladies Open. She was also runner-up at the 2019 Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. Early life and amateur career Davis was born in Poole, Dorset and attended Brockenhurst College in Hampshire and Baylor University in Texas. She is attached to Ferndown Golf Club and won the Abu Dhabi Junior Golf Championship and English Women's Amateur Championship in 2010, and the English Women's Open Amateur Stroke Play Championship in 2014. Vagliano Trophy
The Vagliano Trophy is a biennial women's amateur golf tournament. It is co-organised by The R&A and the European Golf Association and is contested by teams representing "Great Britain and Ireland" and the "Continent of Europe". It is played in odd-numbered years; the Curtis Cup being played in even-numbered years. The event started in 1931 as a match between Great Britain and France. It was played annually from 1931 to 1939 and from 1947 to 1949, before becoming a biennial event from 1949 to 1957. Britain won 15 of the 16 matches with the 1934 match being tied. From 1949 to 1957 Great Britain had also played a biennial match against Belgium. Magdalena Simmermacher (born 23 March 1996) is an Argentine professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. The Aramco Team Series is a professional women's golf competition that is part of the Ladies European Tour (LET), first played in 2020. The inaugural tournament was played as the Saudi Ladies Team International at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) by the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. It was the penultimate LET event of the 2020 season and followed the Aramco Saudi Ladies International. 2021 saw the competition expanded to become the Aramco Team Series, with four tournaments to be held in the United Kingdom, the United States, Spain and Saudi Arabia, each with a US$1 million prize fund. Ashleigh Ann Buhai ( née Simon, born 11 May 1989) is a South African professional golfer, who won the 2022 Women's Open, one of the major championships in women's golf. Bronte May Law (born 12 March 1995) is an English professional golfer. Her maiden LPGA Tour victory, her first win as a professional, came in May 2019 at the Pure Silk Championship in Virginia. The 2014 Espirito Santo Trophy took place 2–7 September at the Karuizawa 72 Golf East, on its Iriyama and Oshitate courses in Karuizawa, Japan. It was the 26th women's golf World Amateur Team Championship for the Espirito Santo Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event. There were 50 team entries, each with two or three players. Each team played two rounds at the Iriyama Course and two rounds at the Oshitate Course. European Ladies' Team Championship
The European Ladies' Team Championship is a European amateur team golf championship for women organised by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1959. It was played in odd-numbered years from 1959 to 2007 and has been played annually since 2008 (with the exception of 2012). Format Currently, the championship is contested by up to 20 teams, each of 6 players. The format consists of two rounds of strokeplay, out of which the five lowest scores from each team's six players will count each day. The total addition of the five lowest scores will constitute the team's score and determine the teams qualified for the last three rounds of matchplay.
