LBC Crew
The LBC Crew (Long Beach City Crew) was a hip-hop trio from Long Beach, California. They were the first act to be executively-produced by Snoop Dogg. During their time with Death Row, the LBC Crew recorded a previously unreleased album entitled ''Haven't U Heard...'' which remained unreleased until February 8, 2011 when it was released by WideAwake/Death Row. They had a hit single with the song " Beware of My Crew", from the ''A Thin Line Between Love and Hate'' soundtrack album, which was originally intended to be for their debut album. They played on Snoop Dogg's second album '' Tha Doggfather''. The group disbanded following the collapse of Death Row. Since then, unreleased material from the group emerged on the underground. Sam Sneed
Samuel D. Anderson (born February 29, 1968), known professionally as Sam Sneed, is an American record producer and rapper. He originally got his start working as a producer for K-Solo and the Hit Squad. Biography Early years In 1993, he was signed to Death Row Records, releasing only one single, " U Better Recognize" featuring Dr. Dre in 1994. The single appeared on the ''Murder Was the Case'' soundtrack, and peaked at #16 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales chart, #18 on the Hot Rap Tracks chart and #48 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. Tha Dogg Pound is an American hip-hop duo composed of West Coast rappers Kurupt and Daz Dillinger. They were among the first acts to sign to Death Row Records in 1992. Kurupt and Daz went on to release solo albums starting in 1998; they left the crumbling Death Row Records following year. Daz left due to long-lasting internal struggles on the label after friend and labelmate Tupac Shakur's Murder of Tupac Shakur, murder in 1996. Kurupt started Antra Records, while Daz and Soopafly started D.P.G. Recordz. Priest Joseph Brooks, (born December 8, 1972), known professionally as Soopafly is an American hip hop producer and rapper from Long Beach, California. He is a member of the DPGC. Early life The oldest of three children, Brooks grew up in Long Beach. He was given a keyboard by his father after being inspired by the piano players he saw in church.
