Hathyar (1989 Film)
''Hathyar'' () is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language action film written and directed by J. P. Dutta. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Asha Parekh, Paresh Rawal and Amrita Singh. It has never had an official DVD release from distributors but converted video prints of the film are available. Plot Avinash (Sanjay Dutt) and his parents (Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Asha Parekh) come to Bombay where they miserably scrape along. Sometimes their acquaintance with Samiulla Khan (Rishi Kapoor), the younger brother of the underworld crime lord Khushal Khan (Dharmendra), is quite helpful as Sami, who refuses to deal with his brother's business, enjoys a good reputation. But after some bitter experiences, Avinash's father cannot stand his poor situation anymore and commits suicide. Dharam Singh Deol (born 8 December 1935), also known mononymously as Dharmendra, is an Indian actor, producer and politician who is known for his work in Hindi films. Mahesh Anand (13 August 1961 – 9 February 2019) was an Indian actor, dancer and martial artist who worked in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was very close to Mehmood Ali.
