Harry Grant (footballer)
Harry Edward Grant (born 31 December 1993) is an English footballer who plays for Ascot United as a midfielder. Playing career Grant is a former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He began his football career at Swindon Town, where he was named captain of the youth team. Grant's professional career began in June 2012, when he signed a two-year contract with Sheffield Wednesday, under the management of Dave Jones . During his time with the club, Grant played for the Sheffield Wednesday Development Squad in the U21 Development League, where he scored 13 goals in 24 games in the 2012-2013 season. In March 2013, Grant was loaned out to Gillingham, where he made his debut for the club on 27 April 2013. He played 70 minutes in their title-winning game against Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium. The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. The 2017–18 FA Vase was the 44th season of the FA Vase, an annual association football, football competition for teams playing below Step 4 of the English National League System. The competition was played with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final played at Wembley Stadium. All first-leg ties until the semi-finals were played with extra time if drawn after regulation – first-leg ties could also be resolved with penalties if both teams agreed and notified the referee at least 45 minutes before kick-off.
