Harpos Football Club, known as Harpos FC, is an American amateur soccer club based in Boulder, Colorado who play in the United States Adult Soccer Association. The team, founded by former undergraduates of the University of Colorado, has won 31 trophies since 2008 including the Breckenridge Tournament, City of Boulder, Colorado Premier League, Copa Alianza Denver, Premier Arena Soccer League Rocky Mountain Division, USSSA Colorado State Cup and Vail Invitational Tournament. History The club reached the second round of the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, defeating BYU Cougars in a shootout 4–2 in the first round. The team lost to Colorado Springs Switchbacks 2–1 in the second round. It consists of 55 state organizations as well as national, regional and state leagues. The National Premier Soccer League, NISA Nation and United Premier Soccer League are USASA national affiliates designed to promote a higher level of competition than the state organizations. USASA also affiliates the Women's Premier Soccer League, one of the unrecognized third division leagues below the fully professional NWSL. BYU Cougars men's soccer is an American soccer team based in Provo, Utah, United States. The club has won eight NIRSA national championships, and it is the only university sponsored soccer program to have ever purchased a franchise, competing in the Premier Development League (now known as USL League Two) from 2003 to 2017. Albuquerque Sol FC is an American soccer club based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Co-founded by Ron Patel and Larry Espinoza in 2013, the team plays in USL League Two, the fourth tier of the American soccer pyramid. History Inaugural season (2014) On May 3, 2014, Albuquerque Sol F.C. opened its season on the road against the Las Vegas Mobsters in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sol lost its first ever game 1–0. The following week, they traveled to Highlands Ranch, Colorado for a two-match series against the Real Colorado Foxes.
