Harold Franklin "Hawkshaw" Hawkins (December 22, 1921 – March 5, 1963) was an American country music singer popular from the 1950s into the early 1960s. He was known for his rich, smooth vocals and music drawn from blues, boogie and honky tonk. At tall, Hawkins had an imposing stage presence, and he dressed more conservatively than some other male country singers. Hawkins died in the 1963 plane crash that also killed country stars Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas. Harold Hawkins (22 July 1886 – 16 June 1917) was a British sports shooter. He competed in four events at the 1908 Summer Olympics winning a silver medal in the disappearing target event. Harold Hawkins (Rhodesia)
Air-Vice Marshal Harold Hawkins, CBE, Air Force Cross (United Kingdom), AFC, ICD, GLM was an Australians, Australian air force officer who served as Commander of the Rhodesian Air Force from 1965 to 1968. Early life Harold Hawkins was born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia in 1922. He died in South Africa on 13 March 1988. Career Before the outbreak of the Second World War, Hawkins joined the Royal Australian Air Force. He saw service in North Africa, Italy, and the Philippines. During his service, he was posted to the Rhodesian Air Training Group's Central Flying School, Norton, Zimbabwe, Norton in 1943. A year later, in June 1944, he returned to Rhodesia to marry Evelyn Walker. After serving in the Rhodesian Air Force, Hawkins was appointed as Diplomatic Representative in South Africa. References

Frank Hawkins (politician)
Francis Harold "Frank" Hawkins (1 June 1897 – 20 December 1971) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Parliament from 1935 until 1968 and held a number of ministerial positions in the Government of New South Wales. He was a member of the Labor Party. Early life and career Hawkins was born in Tenterfield and was educated to intermediate level at De La Salle College, Armidale. He worked initially with the Postmaster General's department and then the NSW Department of Railways. He was transferred to Newcastle Railway Station in 1933. He died in Newcastle in 1971 at the age of 74, and was buried at Sandgate Cemetery following a service at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Hamilton. Political career He successfully contested the Legislative Assembly seat of Newcastle as the Lang Labor candidate in the 1935 general election.
