''Harmful If Swallowed'' is the first CD/DVD set from American comedian Dane Cook. It was released on July 22, 2003. The attached DVD contains Dane's appearances on ''Comedy Central Presents'' (both the edited-for-television and unedited hour-long versions), ''Comics Come Home'' 5, and ''Premium Blend''. As of 2014, sales in the United States have exceeded 1,404,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Original version Before this version produced by Comedy Central Records came out, there was a different version of this album that was independently produced by Cook himself that contained a track lampooning Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter. This track was removed for the "official" CD / DVD release. To fill the gap of the missing track, the bonus track was added in this cut of the album. Dane Cook
Dane Jeffrey Cook (born March 18, 1972) is an American stand-up comedian and film actor. He has released six comedy albums: ''Harmful If Swallowed''; ''Retaliation''; '' Vicious Circle''; '' Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden''; and '' Isolated Incident''. In 2006, ''Retaliation'' became the highest charting comedy album in 28 years and went platinum. He performed an HBO special in late 2006, ''Vicious Circle'', a straight-to-DVD special titled ''Rough Around The Edges'' (which is included in the album of the same name), and a Comedy Central special in 2009 titled ''Isolated Incident''. He is known for his use of observational, often vulgar, and sometimes dark comedy. He is one of the first comedians to use a personal webpage and MySpace to build a large fan base, and in 2006 was described as "alarmingly popular". Slip ’N Slide is a children's toy invented by Robert Carrier and manufactured by Wham-O. It was first sold in 1961. The main form is a plastic sheet and a method of wetting it; when the surface is wet it becomes very slippery, allowing the user to slide along it. Some versions also include an inflatable pool for the user to slide into, and spray tubes. History The creator was inspired by his son sliding on wet, painted concrete. He used his job as an upholsterer to obtain a long strip of Naugahyde, sewed a tube to pass a hose into, and punctured the tube sporadically to allow water to spurt out. Carrier sold his invention to Wham-O where they replaced Naugahyde with plastic to reduce production costs. Steve Irwin
Stephen Robert Irwin (22 February 19624 September 2006), known as "The Crocodile Hunter", was an Australian zookeeper, conservationist, television personality, wildlife educator, and environmentalist. Irwin grew up around crocodiles and other reptiles and was educated regarding them by his father Bob. He achieved international fame from the television series ''The Crocodile Hunter'' (1996–2007), an internationally broadcast wildlife documentary series that he co-hosted with his wife Terri.
