They are currently in Liga Alef South division, and play home matches at the Grundman Stadium. History The club was founded in 2011. in their first season of existence, they won Liga Gimel Sharon division, and promoted to Liga Bet, after being undefeated, with 27 wins and 3 draws, scoring 155 goals and conceding 27. in their first season in Liga Bet, the club finished in the 7th place, and in the following season, the club made history by winning Liga Bet South A division, The Israel Football Association and were promoted to Liga Alef. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the Mandate for Palestine, British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi World Union, Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of Israel Football Association, football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. 2013–14 Liga Alef
The 2013–14 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Kfar Saba (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Kiryat Gat (champions of the South Division) win the title and promotion to Liga Leumit. The clubs which were ranked between 2nd to 5th places in each division competed in a promotion play-offs, in which the winner, Ironi Tiberias advanced to the final round, where they beat the 14th placed club in Liga Leumit, Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem 5-1 on aggregate. thus, Ironi Tiberias were also promoted to Liga Leumit. The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final.
