The High School for Gifted Students, Hanoi National University of Education (abbrev. HNUE High School, in Vietnamese: Trường THPT chuyên, Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội, or, as commonly known, Chuyên Sư phạm (CSP)) is a public magnet school in Hanoi, Vietnam. The school was founded in 1966 as a national educational institution to nurture Vietnamese students who excelled at mathematics. HNUE High School is the second oldest magnet high school in Vietnam and one of the seven national-level high schools for the gifted. The school and HUS High School for Gifted Students are often interchangeably ranked the first in National Science Olympiads for high school students and National University Entrance Examinations. Its students have won about 100 medals at the International Science Olympiads. Hanoi National University of Education (Abbreviation: HNUE; vi, Đại học Sư phạm Hà Nội) is a public university in Vietnam. Hoàng Tụy
Hoàng Tụy (7 December 1927 – 14 July 2019) was an prominent Vietnamese applied mathematician. He was considered one of two founders of the mathematical institutions of Vietnam; the other was Lê Văn Thiêm. Career Hoàng Tụy's early career coincided with the French war (1946–1954), which interrupted his studies. In December 1946, after two months as a mathematics student at Hanoi University, he had to return to the south, because the French had invaded and seized Hanoi, and the University had closed. Hoàng Tụy taught secondary school in Quảng Ngãi province in the Fifth Liberated Zone from 1947 to 1951, during which time he wrote a geometry textbook that was published by the Việt Minh press—perhaps the first time a guerrilla movement published a math book. Lê Văn Thiêm
Lê Văn Thiêm (29 March 1918 – 3 July 1991) was a Vietnamese scientist. Together with Hoàng Tụy, he is considered the father of Vietnam Mathematics society. He was the first director of the Vietnam Institute of Mathematics, and the first Headmaster of Hanoi National University of Education and Hanoi University of Science. Biography Lê Văn Thiêm was born in 1918 at Trung Lễ Commune, Đức Thọ District, Hà Tĩnh Province, to an intellectual family. He was the youngest of 13 brothers and sisters. After the death of his parents in 1930, he moved to live with his older brother in Quy Nhơn and attended the Collège de Quy Nhơn, where Thiêm stood out in science and mathematics. Bkav is a Vietnamese security software and electronics company based in Hanoi. It has grown to be the most popular anti-virus software provider in Vietnam, capturing over 70% of the domestic market. The name of the company was based on " Bach Khoa AntiVirus", as it was founded as a spin-off of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology Bach Khoa Internetwork Security center by student Nguyễn Tử Quảng.
