Hang Lung Properties, formerly Amoy Properties and currently subsidiary of Hang Lung Group, is a property developer in Hong Kong. It is a member of Hang Seng Index Constituent Stocks ( blue chip) and is headquartered in the Standard Chartered Bank Building in Central, Hong Kong. History Hang Lung Properties Limited was incorporated in 1949 and was taken over by Hang Lung Group Limited in 1980. It became the property investment arm of Hang Lung Group Limited after the group re-organisation in 1987. The company is led by Ronnie Chan. In November 2010, the company said it was aiming to raise up to HK$10.1 billion through a share placement to finance expansion on the mainland. The Hang Seng Index (HSI) is a freefloat-adjusted market- capitalization-weighted stock-market index in Hong Kong. It is used to record and monitor daily changes of the largest companies of the Hong Kong stock market and is the main indicator of the overall market performance in Hong Kong. These 66 constituent companies represent about 58% of the capitalisation of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. HSI was started on November 24, 1969, and is currently compiled and maintained by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank, one of the largest banks registered and listed in Hong Kong in terms of market capitalisation. Mong Kok (also spelled Mongkok, often abbreviated as MK) is an area in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The Prince Edward subarea occupies the northern part of Mong Kok. Ronald Joseph Arculli, GBM, GBS, CVO, OBE, JP (; born 2 January 1939 in Hong Kong) is former chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, Non-official Members Convenor of the Executive Council of Hong Kong (Exco) and a senior partner at King & Wood Mallesons. He is a Hong Kong solicitor and a founding partner of the law firm, Arculli, Fong, & Ng, which later merged with King & Wood Mallesons. Early life Arculli was born to an Indian father and a Chinese mother. His parents divorced when he was three. He was sent to study in England and finished his A-levels in 1958. After this he returned to Hong Kong and eventually became a barrister and solicitor in both the bars of Hong Kong and England.
