Hand Heart
A hand heart is a gesture in which a person forms a heart shape using their fingers. The upside down hand heart gesture was noted in art in 1989, when Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan and American philosopher Chad Buelow created an art image of the gesture as his first artwork named ''Family Syntax''. The gesture became popular in the early 2010s. This gesture was added to Unicode 14.0 and Emoji 14.0 in 2021 with code point . Google patent Google filed a patent in July 2011 that allowed Google Glass users to use the hand heart in front of any objects, and the gadget automatically recognise the object, takes a picture, and send it to social networks as a "liked" image. Maurizio Cattelan (born 21 September 1960) is an Italian artist. Known primarily for his hyperrealistic sculptures and installations, Cattelan's practice also includes curating and publishing. His Satire, satirical approach to art has resulted in him being frequently labelled as a joker or prankster of the art world. Self-taught as an artist, Cattelan has exhibited internationally in museums and Biennale, Biennials. In 2011 the Guggenheim Museum, New York presented a retrospective of his work. Google Glass, or simply Glass, is a brand of smart glasses developed and sold by Google. It was developed by X (previously Google X), with the mission of producing an ubiquitous computer. Google Glass displays information to the wearer using a head-up display. Wearers communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands. The mini heart gesture is a trend that was popularized in South Korea in which the index finger and thumb come together like a snap to form a tiny heart. Popular usage Before the appearance of finger hearts, it was common to make small hearts with two hands or to make large hearts by raising and curving both arms above the head. Conventionally, heart display using both hands and arms has been performed worldwide, but finger hearts are also called Korean Finger Hearts because they are associated with the rise of South Korean pop culture. In South Korea, it is a known symbol among Korean celebrities (namely actors and singers) and their fans, and is popularly performed using the thumb and index finger.
