Han Li (badminton)
Han Li (, born 16 January 1988) is a Chinese badminton player from Tai'an, Shandong. In 2003, she was elected to join the China national badminton team, Chinese national youth team, and two years later she joined the national senior team. In 2006, she won the gold medal at the 2006 BWF World Junior Championships, World Junior Championships in the mixed team event. In 2012, she won two 2012 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix, Grand Prix Gold title at the 2012 Australia Open Grand Prix Gold, Australia Open and 2012 Indonesian Masters Grand Prix Gold, Indonesian Masters tournament. In 2013, she won the women's singles gold medal at the 2013 East Asian Games, East Asian Games in Tianjin. Han (Chinese Surname)
Han () is a common Chinese surname. The spelling "Han" is based on China's pinyin system and so used throughout Mainland China. Badminton World Federation
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales). In 1981 the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF). Lyddia Cheah Li Ya (; born 8 September 1989, also known as ''Lyddia Cheah Yi Yu'') is a Malaysian badminton player. Her younger sister, Soniia Cheah Su Ya is also a badminton player. Wang Shixian
Wang Shixian (; ; born 13 February 1990) is a retired Chinese professional badminton player. She is a former World No. 1 in women's singles. Career Wang Shixian was admitted into Chinese Junior National Team in 2005 and was soon promoted to the second-level adult team a year later, but she got the chance to compete in the international stages only in 2009, after being promoted to the first-level adult team. 2007–2009 Wang participated in 2007 BWF World Junior Championships being unseeded.
