Adam Hamdy (born 12 March 1974) is a Sunday Times best-selling British novelist, screenwriter and film producer best known for his novels, ''Pendulum'', ''Black 13'', and ''Private Moscow'', co-written with James Patterson. Biography Hamdy was born and raised in London, United Kingdom. He attended the University of Oxford, and graduated with a degree in law. He also holds a degree in philosophy from the University of London. Hamdy joined the consulting team at Lloyd's of London. From there, he went on to join a niche management consulting firm and worked in the technology and medical sectors. Using seed finance provided by the partners in his consulting firm, Hamdy founded a company that developed specialist online payment systems. Ahmed Hamdy
Ahmed Hamdi (20 May 1929 – 14 October 1973) was an Egyptian engineer and a general of the 3rd Army of Egypt during the October War. He was killed while crossing the Suez Canal with his soldiers and was awarded the Sinai star posthumously. Biography Hamdi was a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University. In 1951 he joined the Egyptian Air Force, transferring to the engineering force in 1954. Hamdi travelled to the Soviet Union, where he passed a training for leaders at the M. V. Frunze Military Academy. In the Suez Crisis of 1956 he was known as "the pure hand" because he disarmed thousands of landmines. In 1967, he ordered blowing up the El Ferdan Railway Bridge to prevent Israeli soldiers from using it. He also installed watchtowers on the western bank of the Suez Canal beneath trees in order to watch Israeli troops' movements when there were no means or sand hills, having chosen the location of the towers himself. Ahmed Hamdi Hussein Hafez (born 10 February 1998) is an Egyptian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Egyptian Premier League side Zamalek. Career Hamdy is a product of the Al Ahly youth system. On 18 December 2015, he made his debut with Al-Ahly in a 2015–16 Egyptian Premier League match against Smouha SC under José Peseiro. He started the match before being substituted in the second half. On 4 February 2021, Hamdy joined Canadian Major League Soccer club CF Montréal on loan for the 2021 season. On 19 October 2021, Montréal announced they had exercised their purchase option on Hamdy. El Sayed Hamdy Hewil ( ar, السيد حمدي) (born 1 March 1984) is a retired Egyptian football striker. as well as the Egyptian national team. Hassan Hamdy was the 12th and president of the Egyptian Al Ahly Sporting Club. He was the vice president of the club during Saleh Selim's presidency and the chairman of Al-Ahram advertising agency which is part of the Al-Ahram association and the president of the International Advertising Association (IAA)'s Cairo branch. HAMDY Mine
The HAMDY mine is an Egyptian directional fragmentation mine based on the US Claymore mine and produced by the Maasara Company. The mine consists of a rectangular sand colored plastic main body with a convex face, inside which is a layer of approximately 700 steel fragments embedded in a main charge of cast explosive. The mine is supported by two sets of scissor type legs. On the top of the mine is a crude peep sight and two detonator wells, designed to accept electrical command detonators or MUV style trip fuzes. When triggered the mine scatters fragments in an arc of 60 degrees to a range of 50 meters and a height of approximately two meters.
