Yugoslavia was the host nation of the Eurovision Song Contest 1990, held in Zagreb, Socialist Republic of Croatia, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia. It was represented by Tajči and the song "Hajde da ludujemo" Before Eurovision Jugovizija 1990 The Yugoslav national final to select their entry, ''Jugovizija 1990'', was held on 3 March 1990 in Zadar, Socialist Republic of Croatia, Croatia, and was hosted by Ana Brbora Hum and Branko Uvodić. Sixteen songs made it to the national final, which was broadcast by Yugoslav Radio Television, JRT to all of the regions of Yugoslavia. The winner was decided by the votes of eight regional juries (Sarajevo, Zagreb, Skopje, Podgorica, Titograd, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Priština and Novi Sad). Đorđe Marjanović
Đorđe Marjanović ( sr-Cyr, Ђорђе Марјановић; 30 October 1931 – 15 May 2021) was a Serbian and Yugoslav singer. Marjanović began his career in the mid-1950s, rising to fame in the late 1950s with his theatrical on-stage performance. During the 1960s he recorded a large number of hit songs and became the first superstar of the Yugoslav popular music, but also achieved large popularity in the Soviet Union. Due to his on-stage performance and inclusion of foreign rock and roll hits into his repertoire, Marjanović was often described as one of the pioneers of the Yugoslav rock scene. During the 1970s and 1980s he managed to maintain a loyal fanbase. In 1990, he suffered a stroke on stage, from which he partially recovered, but decided to retire from the scene. Zorica Kondža (born 25 June 1960) is a Croatian pop-rock singer. She is best known for her soprano vocal range, which she displayed as the lead vocalist for the 1980s pop-rock music act ''Stijene''. Since 1981, she had participated in most of the Split Festivals until 2014, which she had won 7 times. Boris Novković (born 25 December 1967) is a Croatian singer-songwriter. He has been active since the 1980s. Biography Novković was born in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia. His interest in a musical career was cultivated by his family background, with mother Ozana who taught music, and father Đorđe who was a leading Croatian songwriter and music manager.
