Haiti competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Haiti sent ten track and field athletes and three boxers to the games. As the athletes were amateurs, picked by President Jean-Claude "Baby Doc" Duvalier out of his personal friends, they had remarkedly poor times, with Dieudonné LaMothe earning the worst results ever at the 5000 metres. A knockout (abbreviated to KO or K.O.) is a fight-ending, winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, muay thai, mixed martial arts, karate, some forms of taekwondo and other sports involving striking, as well as fighting-based video games. Clinton Jackson
Clinton Jackson (born May 20, 1954) is an American former professional boxer. As an amateur, he competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics. He also won a silver medal at the 1974 World Championships and a gold at the 1975 Pan American Games. Biography Born in Evergreen, Alabama, Jackson was an all-around athlete who played football and basketball in high school. He began boxing in 1970 when he walked into a gym in Pensacola, Florida. He lost to Emilio Correa in the gold medal match at the 1974 World Championships, but then defeated him en route to a gold medal at the 1975 Pan American Games. He turned professional in 1979 but never achieved the results that he had as an amateur. Ace Rusevski (born November 30, 1956 in Kumanovo) is a retired Macedonian boxer, who represented Yugoslavia at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
