Haihara
Haihara () is a small district in Tampere, Finland, located about seven kilometers from the city center. Haihara is bordered on the south by Kaukajärvi, on the west by Viiala and on the north by Hankkio. In 2014, Haihara had 199 inhabitants. Kaukajärvi (district)
Kaukajärvi is a district in Tampere, Finland, located between the Highway 9 ( E63) and the three-kilometer-long Lake Kaukajärvi, where district gets its name. The district is also located right on the border of the Kangasala town. Construction of the Kaukajärvi suburb began in the 1960s, the first in the city. The Kaukajärvi statistical area had 12,326 inhabitants in 2017. Kaukajärvi has an international school called Kaukajärvi School founded in 1969, which provides education for grades 1–10. Hankkio
Hankkio is a district in Tampere, Finland, located in the eastern part of the city. The neighboring parts of the city are Messukylä, Ristinarkku, Linnainmaa, Vehmainen, Haihara, Kaukajärvi and Viiala. The Hankkio district is bordered on the south by the Kangasalantie road and on the north by the Tampere–Haapamäki railway. The district is named after Hankkio farm, which was the former croft of the Messukylä's rectory. At one time there was a commercial garden on the farm. Hankkio moved to the city of Tampere in connection with the Messukylä municipal consolidation at the beginning of 1947. Kämmenniemi
Kämmenniemi () is a district, a statistical area and an urban area of Tampere, Finland, located in the area of the former municipality of Teisko. The regional road 338 between Tampere and Ruovesi runs through Kämmenniemi. The distance from the village to the city center of Tampere is about 25 kilometers. The most important sights and buildings in Kämmenniemi are, for example, the Aunessilta arch bridge and Kämmenniemi School. Among other things, the annual Teisko market is organized in Kämmenniemi. Kämmenniemi also has a library and fire station of the Teisko's volunteer fire department. The Paarlahti bay is also located in Kämmenniemi, which is called the only fjord in Finland; however, according to official definitions, it does not quite meet the characteristics of a fjord.
