Hadersfild (Serbian phonetic spelling of Huddersfield) is a Serbian film from 2007, directed by Ivan Živković. The script was written by Uglješa Šajtinac and Dejan Nikolaj Kraljačić. Plot summary The story is set in a small town in Serbia. Rasha ( Goran Šušljik) is 32 years old. He lives with his alcoholic father (Josif Tatić) and tries, whilst failing, to make ends meet by giving literature lessons to teenage girls and hosting a program on the local radio, presenting new books and interviewing authors. Ivan (Nebojša Glogovac), a promising judoka in his teenage years, has since had a history of neurosis, psychotic episodes, hospitalization, being heavily medicated, involvement in various occult groups and practices, prior to having been baptized in the Orthodox Church. Uglješa Šajtinac
Uglješa Šajtinac (Serbian Cyrillic: Угљеша Шајтинац; born 1 October 1971 in Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian writer and playwright. Biography Šajtinac grew up in an artistic parents home, his mother Mirjana is an actress, his father is the poet, writer and playwright Radivoj Šajtinac, he studied Dramaturgy at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts of Belgrade’s University of Arts and graduated in 1999. He worked as a dramaturge at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad from 2003 to 2005, then he became professor of dramaturgy at the Academy of Arts of the University of Novi Sad. He lives in his native place. In theatre history, he is the only Serbian playwright of whom a play (''Huddersfield'') was first performed abroad in English as world premiere. Nebojša Glogovac
Nebojša "Glogi" Glogovac ( sr-Cyrl, Небојша Глоговац; 30 August 19699 February 2018) was an award-winning Serbian actor, notable for performances in theater, television and film. He was a member of the Children's Drama Group of the Serbian Radio and Television, and he began his acting career at the Youth Atelier in Pančevo. In 1996, he received a scholarship from the Yugoslav Drama Theater and a role in the play ''The Great Robbery'', directed by Dejan Mijač on the stage of Atelje 212. When he was a child, he appeared in the television show ''Price iz Nepricave (Stories from Nepricava)'' in 1981. He had his first film role in 1993 in the short film Rekvijem za jedan san (Requiem for a Dream) in the lead role, and after that the same year in the play ''Paradise'' by Petar Zec, where he was also one of the main actors. Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. The River Holme's confluence into the similar-sized Colne to the south of the town centre which then flows into the Calder in the north eastern outskirts of the town.
