Hacha'a
Hach'a, also written as Hacha or Hachaa or Hechea (from Iraqi Arabiهَچَعmeaning "lying down"), with or without the Arabic definite article Al- or El-, is the name for an Iraqi poetic, musical style and its accompanying expressive dance.علي الخاقاني، فنون الادب الشعبي - دار البيان - بغداد 1989 This poetic, musical and dance tradition originated in the North of Iraq but now is mostly popular in Southern Iraq, especially in the Roma or Gypsy communities of Iraq known as Kawliya, which is also the name of the accompanying dance. The poetry Hacha'a poetry, also known as Tajleebah, from Arabic تجليبة which means bringing back, is about bringing back emotional things like memories, a lost love, mending a broken heart, and so on. Fertility Rite
Fertility rites or fertility cult are religious rituals that are intended to stimulate reproduction in humans or in the natural world. Arabic Poetry
Arabic poetry ( ar, الشعر العربي ''ash-shi‘ru al-‘Arabīyyu'') is the earliest form of Arabic literature. Present knowledge of poetry in Arabic dates from the 6th century, but oral poetry is believed to predate that. Arabic poetry is categorized into two main types, rhymed or measured, and prose, with the former greatly preceding the latter. The rhymed poetry falls within fifteen different meters collected and explained by al-Farahidi in ''The Science of ‘ Arud''. Al-Akhfash, a student of al-Farahidi, later added one more meter to make them sixteen. The meters of the rhythmical poetry are known in Arabic as "seas" (''buḥūr''). The measuring unit of seas is known as "''taf‘īlah''," and every sea contains a certain number of taf'ilas which the poet has to observe in every verse (''bayt'') of the poem. Persian Snap
Snapping (or clicking) one's fingers is the act of creating a snapping or clicking sound with one's fingers. Primarily this is done by building tension between the thumb and another ( middle, index, or ring) finger and then moving the other finger forcefully downward, so it hits the palm of the same hand at a high speed. A Georgia Institute of Technology study in 2021 analyzed finger snapping, and found that a given audible snap sound occurs in just seven milliseconds. For reference, the blink of an eye takes place in 150 milliseconds. Shimmy
A shimmy is a dance move in which the body is held still, except for the shoulders, which are quickly alternated back and forth. When the right shoulder goes back, the left one comes forward.
