''Habítame Siempre'' (English: ''Live In Me Always'') is the twelfth studio album by Mexican recording artist Thalía, released on November 19, 2012 by Sony Music Latin. The album consists of 15 tracks, including collaborations with Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Prince Royce, Erik Rubin, Leonel García, Samuel Parra (Samo) and Jesús Navarro. Thalía was influenced by several music styles on the album, as there are elements of pop rock balladry, bachata, salsa, mambo, bossa nova and even nueva trova, all of them combined with Thalia's Latin pop style. ''Viva Tour (En Vivo)'' is the second live album by Mexican singer Thalía. It was released on November 12, 2013 by Sony Music Mexico in Mexico and was released in the United States on December 1, 2013 by Sony Music Latin and later on globally by Sony Music Entertainment. The album was released as a full concert on the following formats : CD + DVD, DVD and Blu-ray Disc. The DVD format includes also a behind-the-scenes documentary about Thalia's preparation for the tour. The concert was recorded on April 26 and 27, 2013 at the National Auditorium of Mexico City, during the tour's last concerts. Salsa Music
Salsa music is a style of Latin American music. Because most of the basic musical components predate the labeling of salsa, there have been many controversies regarding its origin. Most songs considered as salsa are primarily based on son montuno, with elements of Mambo (music), mambo, Latin jazz, Bomba (Puerto Rico), bomba, plena and guaracha. All of these elements are adapted to fit the basic son montuno template when performed within the context of salsa. Originally the name salsa was used to label commercially several styles of Latin dance music, but nowadays it is considered a musical style on its own and one of the staples of Latin American culture. Bachata (music)
Bachata is a genre of music that originated in the Dominican Republic in the 20th century. It is a fusion of southwestern European influences, mainly Spanish guitar music, with indigenous Taino and Sub Saharan African musical elements, representative of the cultural diversity of the Dominican population. The first recorded compositions of bachata was done by José Manuel Calderón in 1962 ("Borracho de amor") from the Dominican Republic. Bachata originates from bolero and son (and later, from the mid-1980s, merengue). The original term used to name the genre was ''amargue'' ("bitterness", "bitter music" or "blues music"), until the mood-neutral term ''bachata'' became popular. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or ''ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century. They were widely used across Europe, and later in Australia, North Africa, North America and South America. Samuel Parra Cruz (born December 2, 1975), known professionally as Samo, is a Mexican pop singer and songwriter, born and raised in Veracruz. Samo rose to fame in the late 2000s as a member of the band Camila. Life and career 1975–2005: Early life and career beginnings Samo was born in Veracruz. Since age five, Samo was part of the choir of the Christian Church directed by his father in Boca del Río. In 1993, at 18 years old, he was part of a group called ''Salmo 40'' which toured the United States and some Mexican cities. Sin Bandera is a romantic ballads duo consisting of Mexican singer-songwriter Leonel Garcia and Argentine singer-songwriter Noel Schajris. They formed in Mexico in 2000. Erik Rubín Milanszenko (born 30 January 1971) is a Mexican singer and actor. He was a member of the Mexican teen pop group Timbiriche. Early career At the age of 12, Rubín joined the group Timbiriche, one of the most important and influential pop bands of the 1980s on the Spanish language charts. His entry into the group transformed it into a septet. His first album with the group was their fourth album. Geoffrey Royce Rojas (born May 11, 1989), known professionally as Prince Royce, is an American singer. At an early age, Royce took an interest in music, and in his teenage years began experimenting with music and writing poetry. By age nineteen, Royce met Andrés Hidalgo, who became his manager. Hidalgo later introduced Royce to record producer Sergio George, who immediately signed him to his label after hearing three of his demos. Gilberto Santa Rosa Cortés, nicknamed "El Caballero de la Salsa" (The Gentleman of Salsa) (born August 21, 1962), is a Puerto Rican bandleader and singer of salsa and bolero. He is a six time Grammy Award winner and has sold over three million records in the United States and Puerto Rico. Santa Rosa also starred in a comedy.
